I have been a few times and best to go on the book me site as you can get a adult deal for $14.50 if the deal is on and usually can be in the morning so need to check the prices on the site. Cafes and eating places are there but a bit more expensive so alright if you are not too worried about eating in there. I think it is good for a day with friends and family and hope to go again.

No matter how many times i visit Auckland Zoo i cant wait to go back. Always a great day out, the kids love it. The cafe has yummy food and coffee. Highly reccomended.

We spent a lovely Arfo at the zoo today. We got a park much closer than normal. The African animals were the highlight with our toddler. The little cafe by the elephants closed at 330pm which we thought was early.

One thing I cant stress enough, is how strategically placed the toilet stops are. Good planning! As when toddlers need to go toilet, they need to go in that instance!
The animals seem happy, and the cages and enclosures are kept clean and tidy. The timetable they have shows the feeding sessions with the animals which is cool.
