Auckland Zoo

A really fantastic zoo. Well priced, staff are friendly and will answer any question you have about the animals on display. Love their new african section. You can get so close to the Meerkats! You can now get ground level and see how big the Giraffes really are!

Always a family favourite. Have been visiting for years with nieces and nephews, and now my own children. The animals look happy and well cared for. I enjoy the live feeding shows that they have e.g. with the red pandas, birds etc. There is a cafe onsite and the food prices are ok, not too excessive, but good quality. Lots of water fountains around, and a playground on the grounds for children. Should have more toilet blocks though.

Such a great day out! A favourite for our family.

First visit in years and nice changes and additions. Especially like the new bird section.
Was pricey though so not somewhere to go often.

Lovely zoo. Entry fees are pricey for a single visit, but the annual zoo pass is well worth it. Also worth arriving before opening - easy to get a park and less crowded.
