Auckland Zoo

Love the zoo. The feeding times are great, you get to see a bit more interaction with the animals. Love the play area. Food is very expensive but that’s to be expected at a tourist attraction

The zoo does conservation really well in terms of working on projects in NZ and around the world. Animals seem generally well looked after and have good space although it would be good to see more though on enrichment. Some enclosures are old and there has been a lot of construction for quite some time to hopefully correct. Staff can occasionally be rather antisocial when you try to speak to them.

Lots of fun and a great day out. Coming up from Wellington it was nice to come to this zoo and see a much larger array of animals and wide open enclosures. Feedings are very informative and theres lots of cafes to stop for some food. Best zoo in New Zealand and a must see in Auckland.

My trip to the Auckland zoo was great and very educational I learnt lots about different types of animals

Great fun for a family day out. My 3 year old Daughter loved the whole experience, especially feeding the animals and seeing them up close.
