Animates Pet Stores

Expensive as Animates usually is, and not a lot of animals for adoption. One time my daughter asked to hold a kitten, the staff were very nice initially and obliged eagerly. The kitten scratched my daughter and ran across the store (not the kittens fault!) and the staff told my daughter off and had her very upset and crying. Please do not allow young children to hold the animals and then treat them that way when accidents happen.

There is quite a big selection here! You will definitely find what you are looking for. A bit pricey as all animates are but some fun items as well.

The best Animates store in Auckland! The staff are so overly friendly and helpful. It's a great place to take your dog for cuddles and attention too. They've got consistent stock etc with other stores but stand out in their customer service.

Great selection of all pet needs, we have purchased all our current fish from in store the staff are always so helpful

Visited this store during winter holidays. They organize a bit educational session about fish, interesting even for adults. Huge range of product, friendly staff and nice store animal!
