A great day out for the family! Our two young kids loved getting up close and personal with the animals (feeding the ducks was a firm favourite) and the tractor ride was a definite highlight. We didn't visit the cafe, but will definitely visit Staglands again just for the outdoor experience.

Great opportunity to get outdoors with your children or grandchildren. The Reserve has a great layout and the animals appear to be well cared for and maintained. I was surprised with how open the layout is and how the kids can interact with the animals. The Reserve is also very clean and the cafe is reasonable priced. Worth the entrance fee and your time.

Food was amazing, service was attentive (could have been less attentive but we aren't complaining). The environs was good for an easy quiet catch-up meal. The pricing isn't cheap but there is quality and uniqueness to the food they have on the menu. I will be back for breakfast.

We visited Staglands recently and enjoyed the reserve side of things, our toddler experienced animals up close for the first time and he was in his element, it was unfortunate that a baby goat ran and jumped into our stroller looking for food, if our son had been in it at the time he could have been seriously injured. Better fencing for some animals might be a good idea. We went to the cafe after and had a disappointing experience, the food was pricey, we waited almost an hour to receive it and some of it was undercooked and we also found a hair in our food, probably wouldn’t go back to the cafe, but the reserve is well worth visiting.

A must do for locals and visitors.

We visited again recently and whilst the road in and out can be a little narrow you are rewarded with this great place.

Free parking and friendly staff as well as a good value on-site cafe.

There are animals from deer to peacocks and a great place to feed the animals or walk around.
