Our Kids Early Learning is a child care centre founded by Anita Kumar in 2008. The centre is passionate about helping kids obtain quality early childhood education through creating an environment that promotes intimate community relationships. Further, the child care centre also uses New Zealands Te Whariki curriculum, applies the principles of Pikler and RIE philosophies, and support childrens play, all of which contribute to the process of learning where childrens imagination, wonder, and discovery could foster.

Creating a safe and comfortable environment, Our Kids Early Learning daycare in West Auckland is not a typical day care centre. The centre offers mixed age groupings wherein they cater to children aged six months through to five years. This approach allows the kids to learn from each others abilities as they participate in more unique activities than they would on their own or in groups of their own age.

The centre believes that children are born to self-educate given the right tools and learning environments, embodying active listening as their philosophy. Our Kids Early Learning Centre nurtures an inclusive environment where kids are exposed to a secure space knowing their voice is heard and their presence are valued and where they can build authentic and trusting relationships as they become aware of their interests and develop their creativity.

Anna Millar the owner is a registered Primary school teacher with over 10 years experiences in New Zealand Primary Schools. 

We have a cook who prepared nutritious home-cooked meals daily for our children.

We are an Early Learning Centre delivering Te Whariki, the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum.

We cater to children aged 0-6 years and are licenced for 38 children.

We offer 20 hours free for children over 3 years of age.

Playhouse Early Learning Centre are leaders in education and care with 100% of our permanent teaching staff qualified in either ECE or primary teaching. We pride ourselves in creating a fun, educational and safe environment to help grow your fantastic kids! We welcome children from the ages of 6 months to 5 years.

Our biggest priorities at Playhouse are education, safety, school transition, health, creating a comfortable environment, and accommodating and involving you! We are open during business hours and have a high teacher/child ratio. We provide home cooked meals, sun hats, sunscreen and an affordable nappy service. Children 3+ can receive 20 hours ECE.
