fantastic place to visit, lots to see and do

It is quite expensive for families to visit. The coffee and food in the cafe were delicious but we felt quite uneasy about being there as the owner and staff were constantly staring at us. The dire engine was really cool and the kids enjoyed it.

Pretty cool private museum. Lots of areas to explore. We went on a sunny autumn day and it was lovely walking outside between the different buildings where the cars and things are displayed. Admission is a bit more than I'd expect to pay but understandable given its a private collection. The old firetruck were a big hit with my toddler (and daddy and grandad lol). The cafe is interesting too. Lovely family day out.

Quite pricey entry for what it is, but even if you just go to the cafe without visiting the museum it is worth it! Cafe is reasonably priced, has great coffee and adorable treats like jelly cups made into a beach theme with a wee umbrella and tiny teddy - my kids were thrilled!

A hidden gem... great museum. Check out the collection of fascinating cars, old horse drawn carriages, old racing cars and bikes, old print and computer technology plus a fire station. And a lovely cafe on site. Child friendly too
