We were looking for a restaurant but at the end, we ended up in this unusual bar. We were recommended by some friends and were told that they serve the best dumplings in town. Dumplings were so yummy and we could taste all the ingredients of it. It was exceptional.
My new favourite fusion dumpling joint in the city. Very simple but delicious menu to choose from. Making it easier to order.
Recommend trying the beef & lemongrass ones along with chicken & shiitake fried dumplings.
In reverse to Moon Cameron, I popped in here for a few pre-drinks before our table at Ortolana was ready. Good service, attentive but not obtrusive. Wine was nice (Spanish even, flash huh). Also was told that Xuxu translates as 'little sister' in Vietnamese. Which makes me like it a little more too. Oh, and same owners as Hanoi. So there you go. 4.5 stars. Promise to try the food next time.
We popped into Xuxu for a night cap after dinner at Ortolana. The ambience was nice and friendly staff. I had a Vietnamese coffee which was delicious - hard to get this wrong when you add condensed milk to the coffee. My husband and friend had the Churchills 20year old port which was very average unfortunately. Overall nice experience, but nothing stand out. A live Jazz band wouild be awesome here.
A nice little bar with a refreshing fragrant bar snack selection. I had the summer roll and the grilled chicken and they were both nice. The wine list is good but I really liked their cocktails. If you feel a bit adventurous, try Xuxulicious - this cocktail is quite sweet but has a very fresh note and a bit of chilli to add the final kick.
