Wow I rang yesterday and the phone was picked up straight away!
Phoned to arrange internet to our new house . The lady was very polite and organized a time convenient for us to have the technician call to hook it up.
I was very happy with the service provided here. I was having trouble with my mobile and thought it would need to be sent away to be fixed at a cost to me because it was out of warranty. A member of staff recommended a few things I could try myself before sending it away and what they suggested resolved my issues meaning I've saved quite a bit of money. Very happy!
They have stepped up their prepay plans however the service still needs work trying to get through to customer service is a mission and i often loose reception on my phone which is starting to become a drain, loving the 10 top ups though its about time
If I could change phone providers without being charged a contract termination fee, I would. Vodafones prices are not comparable to other phone providers and I cant wait to change. The service I get is lovely everytime, but my pockets arent deep enough to maintain the contract that I am bound in.
Havent ever had to call these guys have always used their online services- they have been very simple and straight froward- they look after our home internet connection and we find that it is very good- 99% of the time. They are cost effective and would be a prefer ed providor for us
Good package deals on home phone and broadband but their call waiting times for customer service are far too long - generally have to wait 20+ mins just to speak to someone. Some of the customer service staff could do with more training too!
Poor customer service. We had to wait 25 mins to be served. There doesnt seem to be an order in which people are seen. When at last we did get served it was a 45 min process to get a phone, sim card and prepay set up!! Then we got the wrong information, and didnt get the credit we were promised. A call to the dall centre was another 40 min process to get the prepay plan changed and get the credit we were promised. Poor poor customer service. There are other telcos in nz - go there!

You push the number for the department you want and go through this up to ten times. Then you don't get where you wants and get put through to finance after holding so long
It gets worse because the finance people then berate you for calling them but they can't transfer you to customer services because they don't know the number. They suggest you look it up.
Im sorry but the service from vodafone is terrible. You wait much longer than you should to have your call answered, and when it does get answered, unfortunately you get someone who doesnt understand or even know the geographics of New Zealand, and can comprehend what your call is about. I find that there is always a language barrier, and I cant wait until im no longer bound by contract and can change to another provider.
