Useless! I gave them back my modem 2 months ago now after instructed to do so by Customer Support following the termination of my Vodafone Broadband contract. I was assured that the modem would be returned to Vodafone HQ and a receipt emailed to me. Some time later, no email so I called them, a young man answered whom apologised and said that he would get it sent immediately.
3 weeks passed and after some pesky calls from Customer Support insisting that I need the receipt number if I do not wish to pay $300 for the 'lost' modem, I called Vodafone Rangiora back. Apparently the modem was still sitting in a bottom draw with a post-it note stuck to it. Again the young man apologised, confirmed my email address and name and said he would get to it before the day ended.
A month later and I have received no email with my receipt number, and now I'm getting automated calls from Vodafone warning me of consequences for an unpaid modem fee.
Vodafone Rangiora, send back my modem before I invoice you for the bill!
