What makes us different?
Founded in 1883, Auckland is now the country¿s largest university with 41,000 students, nearly 10,000 of whom graduate annually. The main campus is in the heart of Auckland city and we have four specialist campuses.
The number 1 university in New Zealand! I can't believe I spent 4.5 years here; it went by so quick.
As a whole, the lecturers are great with quite a few stand outs in each faculty. You'd know who are!
The services are really good too, staff at all desks are knowledgeable about the university and whole system. There is a seasoned librarian in the Short Loan who is a gem. If you can't find your class, just ask a friendly student or his/her pal passing by. The AUSA student union office is there for you for everything else. The only downside to this university is there isn't a canteen where all students can get a cheap feed. The foodcourt and cafes around are of the regular CBD price range.
