Do not go to these people. They are a rip off. I paid $2000 for a simple work done. They don't know what they're doing and I am appalled by their responses when I have any questions. For example my car was fitted with a bov . After driving it was have a lot of back firing at low rpm. Called rob and he said he wasn't sure and that was what I asked for so that's good isn't it. Turns out I was running rich on the car. I am very disappointment and I can't tell many times that I have been dumbfounded by robs responses. If your car is your pride then. I would highly suggest you take your car elsewhere as there are better mechanics than these guys. My issue is still there and hasn't been resolved after paying a fortune. feel free to contact me if you want to know more about my experience with these guys. But honestly from the bottom of my heart I can say these guys are a joke and all they are after is your money. Very Disappointed customer.
Car arrived with pinking issue, during diagnostics we found that due to lack of servicing, the intercooler system was calcified and blocked solid with no water flow, resulting in very high intake temps (potentially a cause of pinking), also air filters were also very blocked which required the front bumper to be removed to access to clean. While car was in with us, customer also wanted us to fit coilover suspension that required assembly and height adjustment, and a BOV that was atmospheric venting which we advised may cause engine issues due to the car running a MAF sensor, but customer requested we fitted it anyway. The $2000 covered 2 days solid work on the vehicle which involved the above parts to be fitted, removal of intercooler pump to confirm it was working, multiple flushing of the intercooler system with various products which was so bad they had no effect and ultimately had to source a special marine grade heat exchange cleaning product which managed to do the job after many hours of flushing. After work was complete, we test drove the vehicle and didn't identify any pinking issues with datalogging, we recommended to the customer running the car on the dyno to check mixtures (rich/lean) but customer didn't want to spend any more money. When he phoned and advised that pinking came back after 1 hour of driving, we advised him to return so we could further diagnose to see what other issue could be causing the problem but have had no further contact. In this situation with vehicle issues, all we can do is identify problems and remedy them, as there was clear issues with the car that we identified and fixed, any additional problems cannot be diagnosed unless known problems are remedied first as they may mask additional issues. We advised further diagnosis to confirm issue was 100% solved but customer didn't want to pay for us to spend anymore time on the car. Additionally out of good will we did not charge this customer for initial diagnosis of the intercooler issue or a free roll of heat reflection tape we gave to the customer.
