Super Air started as a topdressing company during the rural depression of the mid eighties by a small group of innovative pilots and Ballance Agri-Nutrients Ltd. Since then it has evolved into one of New Zealand¿s leading agricultural aviation companies. In addition to aerial fertiliser application, Super Air has developed a world-class reputation for aircraft engineering and innovation.
Services include aerial application of:
¿ all types of solid fertilisers
¿ fungicides, herbicides & insecticides
¿ poison baits for noxious animal control
Most of our aircraft are fitted with differential GPS AG-NAV technology. This receives signals ten times per second from up to 25 different satellites. Accuracy therefore is within 1 metre ensuring compliance with spreading instructions, and compliance with environmental requirements. For those farms that have already been GIS mapped, the pilot simply loads the GIS map into his GPS and starts work straight away. For farms that don¿t have GIS maps of their farms, the pilots fly all the corners of the job first to register them into the GPS before sowing. For more info visit our website.
