Stevenson and Taylor Ltd was founded in 1951 by Bill Stevenson and later joined in 1953 by Peter Taylor. Today, Stevenson and Taylor is owned by Bill's son Brian, Bill Donnithorne, John Berkahn and Brett Stevenson.
Stevenson and Taylor's vision at the time was to be at the forefront of the engineering, tractor and the farm machinery business and to give our clients the best service. After 60 years down the line, their vision stays the same.
The company originally commenced as an engineering business followed by a move into tractors and farm machinery - first Allis Chalmers then International Harvester and now Case IH. Now Stevenson and Taylor Ltd has seven divisions within their business. As well as covering the Central Hawkes Bay and Hastings they also have sub agents in Gisborne and Dannevirke.
