None of these callouts were for our own Skylight Specialists skylights. That our skylights performed so well under the excessive strain from these events show that the superior design, robust materials and exceptional installation of our skylights make them more than a match for New Zealands most severe weather conditions.

We are also Government approved licensed practitioners in BOTH Building and Roofing, licensed in Butynol works and are members of the Roofing Association New Zealand (RANZ), plus trade qualified builders. So be rest assured that all our works are done at the most highest standard and to the current building codes. All our standard aluminium skylights are made in our local Wellington factory and are not assembled/screwed together on site (unlike some other skylight companies). All our aluminum skylight frames have solid aluminium welded joins, (excluding our glazing bar model, multi panel units), not silicone glued/screwed together like some types. This method of manufacturing can ensure our skylights are factory sealed to create a robust and watertight seal to suit New Zealand¿s extreme weather conditions. Unlike timber framed skylights that will move/twist and absorb moisture which will eventually fail/leak, similar to exterior timber windows and doors. Being locally manufactured, we can custom make any size/shape to fit in with your existing home perfectly.
