I'm glad I had the opportunity to give this business a half star - if I'd had the choice I would have given it zero stars.
Tagging and testing our electrical equipment at work is vital for us to trade. Without current tagged equipment we cannot work. That is why we booked Poynter over a week in advance - to ensure that they had plenty of notice.
I had all our electrical equipment held back at the workshop, made sure that we had minimum work booked in and waited patiently for the representative from Poynter to arrive for the 7.30am appointment.
At 8am we called to see if they were running a little late... no answer, either from the mobile phone or the main landline number.
At around 11am, having given up entirely, I finally managed to get hold of the representative, who was apologetic and promised to resolve the matter. Six hours later I am still waiting for a response - and now they aren't answering either phone number. Again.
This has cost us thousands in lost revenue, something that Poynter Electrical seems either oblivious to or doesn't care about. It is now the end of the day. I am facing going to work tomorrow with no tested electrical gear for my guys to use. Another day of lost revenue..
