Dealing with PK Furniture Albany is the worst experience we have ever had with a company. If I could rate it less I would. First of all after ordering and paying for 3 couches only two were delivered. We were told that the third would be ordered and made urgently and were offered free cushions as compensation, which we accepted. However, more than three months after first ordering the couches, and being told twice that the third couch had been made and could be delivered within a week (in one case within 2 days) we discovered that manufacture of the third couch had not even been started. We spent literally hours trying to get information from PK Furniture employees and in the process dealt with 5 different people. Each person promised to sort out the issues and to get back to us, but none did so as promised. At one point we were even told that the owner of the company had become involved, but when we asked to deal with the owner directly we were told it was not possible. After experiencing non-communication, inconsistent information whenever we initiated communication and downright untruthful communication our trust and patience was exhausted and we decided to not extend the time further for our couch to be made, and requested a refund. After some discussion this was provided. We did not, however, receive any compensation for their poor performance and the earlier promise of cushions was not honoured. Consistent with their earlier poor performance in communicating, more than a month after being told that a supervisor would be informed of our request to honour their agreement to provide free cushions we have heard no more. I note that similar feedback about customers' experience with PK Furniture appears on their facebook page. I wish I had read that earlier. We will never deal with PK Furniture again and recommend that if anyone chooses to do so that they DO NOT PART WITH ANY MONEY UNLESS AND UNTIL THEY RECEIVE THE GOODS THEY ORDERED.
