My husband was sent to Novus due to the passenger side window being broken by a lawn maintenance company. Upon arriving back after supposed repair he noticed the door panel was broken, he immediately brought this to their attention and was told that the door panel was broken before they started working on his vehicle. It was NOT. They refused to believe him saying it was pretty much their word against his. Unless you have the time to watch over the work being preformed I would strongly advise you to NOT have your car windows worked on by NOVUS.
I must add, unfortunately I have had to use Novus several times for glass replacement on my vehicles. Always handled professionally and ready on time. I have never had to call back with a complaint about the work...I would never hesitate to use them once again. Thank you for the splendid job you do!!
Thank you Novus Whangarei! We're stoked with our new windscreen, but more impressed with the service we received - from the friendly staff to the job done. They squeezed us in although they were flat-tack since we were live rurally, and made an amazing effort to get it back to us ahead of the predicted time. We have used them before and can't rate them highly enough. Thanks again
I needed a replacement window and the window turned up a week after they said it would be there. In the meantime, I had left my car with them overnight and when I came to pick it back up the hood and drivers side window was scratched. When I called to complain/ask them to buff out the scratches they pretended to loose the connection.
This place has aweful customer service.
"I bought a car which had a windscreen replaced by them approximately six months ago. The seal was not done well on the installed windscreen and a slow leak developed in my car. Its a 2011 so by no means old! When Novus were contacted they stated they will not cover their workmanship as the person who had the work completed was the previous owner. Furthermore, upon inspection by Smith & Smith, they found Novus had broken the rear vision mirror when fixing the vehicle windscreen and glued it together. Ive also had to foot the bill for a rear vision mirror from Japan! Not impressed they take no responsibility for their workmanship and in fact made accusations about the new glass repairer Smith & Smith being dodgy! However, the vehicle had been initially inspected to have a windscreen fault by a reputable Mazda dealer! Be warned *Date of job approx based on when the manager from Novus stated the work was done."
