Just been here once ... very high dollar, even for wynyard quarter, and while tasty, hard to justify. They also somewhat puzzlingly refer to themselves as "cuisine of South and Central Americas", when what they mean is cuisine of Southern USA. Not the same.
The food is great but there is a lack of vegetarian options. I don’t always want to have a salad although the one I had was delicious. Staff were really friendly but didn’t seem very helpful re different vegetarian choices. I would definitely go back if there were more vegetarian choices for me to try.
Miss Clawdy offers Louisianne dining, warm hospitable ambience with charming creole flavours to entice your palate.
Service is excellent and I truly adored the complimentary Cajun spiced popcorn to awaken the taste buds. My memorable dishes of the night were the spicy shrimp po' boy, corn purée pork belly and the vanilla custard beignets.
This is a must try restaurant and the wine selection is very impressive!
Have been around 5 times and still is one of my favourite restaurants.
Can be simple, but sometimes complex, truth is, the product doesn't lie and they are very very good. The stone barns products are an highlight, but the service is very in tune with the quality of these....
The food and atmosphere were good but I found the portions not very big especially for the price. You'd have to order a few things to make it worth while, which fine if you don't mind paying more. Glad I have been as heard a lot about it but won't hurry back.
