Stopped by the ballroom cafe for a quick snack after touring the castle. The room is attached to the side of the castle and has multiple entrances. We went through from the side of the castle through the large wooden doors. The room itself was quite large and spacious. It had quite a few fireplaces going so it had quite a nice atmosphere.

Nice for a day out, the family deals Larnach Castle runs over the school holidays are great value.

Stunning views over Otago Harbor, friendly staff, our lunch was the best we had during our stay in Dunedin.
The gardens were to die for

The grounds are beautiful and the scenic reserves peaceful. The ticket seller at the booth was not so patient though as there were many cars lining up to come in and we were asking for discounts. The castle is well maintained.
