Stopped by the ballroom cafe for a quick snack after touring the castle. The room is attached to the side of the castle and has multiple entrances. We went through from the side of the castle through the large wooden doors. The room itself was quite large and spacious. It had quite a few fireplaces going so it had quite a nice atmosphere.

The beautiful ballroom doubles as the cafe and can get busy, especially when a tourist bus stops. The service was friendly and good. The food for lunch was excellent. All and all a wonderful outing for the day.

Nice for a day out, the family deals Larnach Castle runs over the school holidays are great value.

This is a beautiful place to visit, exploring the castle takes you back in time and the gardens and views are lovely.

One of the highlights of the Dunedin area. Magnificent views of the Harbour as well as the historic home itself.
