Kidney Health New Zealand was founded in 1979 as a non-profit organisation to fund research into the prevention, early detection and cure of kidney disease. We provide education, support and resource information concerning the treatment and management of patients with kidney disease.
We have an 0800 number set up so that those with issues or questions around dialysis, kidney disease or organ donation and transplants, patient or family support or research, or those that just want to talk a few things through and need a wee bit of guidance have a helping hand when they need it. So if you have any questions or just want a caring ear to listen, give us a call on 0800 KIDNEY.
What makes us different?
A call to anyone affected by renal damage - you can live an effective, active life. Relevant information on kidney disease, its detection, prevention and cure is what we strive towards. We are not-for-profit and rely on your support to help support our community.
