Good atmosphere. My children always ask me if we can have a wee trip to this café during holidays.

A favourite with locals, the kids can pat the tame eels, while the adults enjoy the quirky relaxed setting. Well worth a drive out from Nelson City for a day trip.

Quirky, fun cafe with some excellent food on offer. Fun for the kids (or for anyone, really) since you can walk down and give the eels a pat while you're waiting for your food and drinks.

Give the tame eels a pat while you wait for your food, or have a look at their eclectic collection of artwork and knick knacks. Quality food here, 5 stars

Wonderful food and coffee in such an amazing setting. Great for the family or just friends. Such an interesting and amazing garden and the tame eels are a sight to behold.

Superb spot in the middle of well somewhere but off the beaten path. Great vibes await those who stop by, good food, drinks at atmosphere.

This spot is a beloved secret amongst locals. The Jester's home-made granny's lemonade is to-die-for, there's an amazing outdoor garden filled with sculptures and picnic tables, and even a river with tame eels to be fed!
