Probably one of the only places that still sell so much music apart from maybe the Warehouse and Relics. Prices are also reasonably cheap for CDs and the music section is really well laid out. Staff are also really helpful, a bit aggressively so in the electronics sections.
The store is a bit disorganized and the advertising is a bit crazy but I think that's part of the charm. Tonnes of stuff in here and staff are generally friendly and helpful. Prices are on par with similar shops and there's always heaps of specials.
This is by far my choice for electronics, as I have purchased my Fitbit here a few years back and recently got my printer after moving back. When purchasing multiple items or larger ones, you can also have them hold your items and loaded onto your car the day after by swinging down the loading bay at Filleul street. Be sure to sign yourself up for the email updates and newsletters, that's how I found the printer I wanted.
JB Hi fi have a massive selection of music, dvds and the means to play them. The staff are always helpful and I've found it quite refreshing the staff write reviews of some of the products in store. Some of the stuff here is quite expensive, but every now and then it's easy to stumble upon an awesome deal. I have not come across anywhere with such an impressive range of alternative music. It's easy to order stuff in and I have no complaints whatsoever here. Buying online is also a breeze.
