Cheap, big servings and good food! The owners and workers are all lovely as well. They always seem to be busy as the location is right in town and near a lot of office. Love to pop in here for a good fish and chip feed or some Chinese once in a while.
My husband and I love this place for it's lunch box special. The noodles are yummy and the sauce they put on the fish is divine. Gotta love the spring rolls also- no meat (yay! as a pescaterian). Recommend walking around to the First Church and devouring their goodness with a view of the church's dizzying spire
It's 1pm, I'm on my lunch break, where to eat?
The lunchboxes are fantastic value, you can get a fantastic meal for about $5.
The chips are amongst the best in Dunedin, but recently they have increased the price to $2.50 a scoop. The burgers here are amongst the best in Dunedin, with the fish, cheese and hasbrown burger and the hawaian burgers being particular highlights. The staff are also awesome and I like the fact they often have posters for upcomming events and bands playing. Am quite happy they have V in the fridge as well.
