Gina from Gina Murphy Flute Lessons is an accomplished flautist who holds a deep passion for both, the flute and music education. Gina has an empathetic, friendly nature and delights in drawing out her student's confidence and talents whilst making learning fun. 

Gina has a high standard of professionalism, preparing students for performance examinations, or just supporting and growing students in their music making. Gina enjoys performing as a soloist, ensemble & orchestral flautist & has held various flute teaching positions in the Auckland region. 

Since starting at the age of nine, Gina attained LTCL (Perf. Flute, 1983), Dip Mus (Perf. Flute, University of Auckland 1985), Dip. Instrumental Music Teaching, studying under Professor Uwe Grodd (Nelson, 1986) & in 2008 graduated with a B.Ed (ECE,AUT).
