Absolute value for money. Eat all that you can for a decent price. Always fun to take the kids here as they can pick and choose what they would like to eat. Food is cooked before your eyes. Great experience, kids always love it here. Definitely a family favourite.
Definitely worth the money! All you can eat and decent food. They don't have a variety of stuff of vegetarians but other than that quite good value. Gengis Khan is a long standing Mongolian buffet which I believe everyone should try at some point in their life. With cold and hot cooked food options, a opportunity to mix and match meats, veges and sauces (then cooked before your eyes on a massive hot plate) as well as pancakes and icecream on offer
Amazing product and experience with food freshly cooked and prepared in front of you. Loved the spicing options and range of chicken and lamb. In order to get good value, need to have a great appetite as there is no limit on helpings.
I suggest start off small , working your way through the menu ...Highly recommended
this is a consistent performer in terms of food, service and atmosphere. the food is sound rather than adventurous in a classic bistro style and the the staff are always welcoming. its a great option after a show if you need something to eat a bit later in the evening.
I always enjoy coming here, so many good memories have been shared here particularly with my family. Love the whole selection of meats to choose from, veges and sauces and watching the cooks prepare you're meal in front of you is an experience in itself. The dessert is great, and even best for the children as they often get pancake shapes such as a mickey mouse, etc. Staff and great here too.
Went to Gengis for the first time the other night after heearing raving reviews. Although it was definitely not a "top" place to eat the experience I had was not bad.
This is a buffet style restaurant where you chose your own meat, veg and sauces for the chefs to cook- stir fry style. Prices are reasonable $29 I believe which includes tea, coffee and desert.
The trip up for me in this type of dining is there was lots of trial and error. Because you chose your own sauces its hard to come up with the right combinations to make a tasty dish- I ended up getting full from trying so many different combinations of unenjoyable stirfrys because I was always getting the combos wrong. (My fault I know)
The desert was really a highlight for me. Freshly made pancakes, an choice of different icecream flavours (standard flavours) and different sauces availabe too. They were deliscious!
Drinks were pricey- $15 for a cocktail I though was too strong.
Overall it was an experience, a few things wrong which were mainly my error or part and parcel with what would happen on this type of dining but the staff really made it great.
They were attentive, friendly and prompt to clear your table which I liked
