The bar itself was made to appear really homey and cozy, with mostly wood accents and the central bar area bringing much charm. The whole place seems to have three general areas, indoors, patio (street side) and the garden (cool as it's a smoking area too). The drinks on tap are quite peculiar, milk stout is one of them, and the one I had was the flat white (beer with a coffee like base and creamy upper froth). We both got fish and chips which was simply divine!
Great food; I'm a lover of the wedges and the staff always let me order some gravy on the side or add cheese and bacon to it. Staff generally have a great attitude, always willing to come light the outside fires/heaters in the winter. The coffee is good too, and I'm incredibly fussy about my coffee having being a barista for six years while I was studying.
