      We visited the local art space, The Dowse, in Lower Hutt. The galleries were very impressive with 3 exhibitions on show and the gift shop offered many take home items.

      This was a highly impressive local art gallery and museum space well frequented with Bellbird cafe. Highly recommended!

      Sensational, amazing, wonderful facility. Lower Hutt needs more of this it is a wonderful addition to the city and adds great character and charm to the area. Lovely cafe and gift store and a tasteful art gallery to explore. Sometimes we come just for the coffee and that alone is great.

      this is a great place with awesome exhibitions. they always have a wide range of artwork on display so its nice to keep going back to. there is a really good giftshop where i got some nice presents and it feel food to support local artists.
