Modern feel to this museum, spacious and lots of nooks and crannies to get lost in. Interesting fashion section and lots of interactive exhibits too.

Sensational, amazing, wonderful facility. Lower Hutt needs more of this it is a wonderful addition to the city and adds great character and charm to the area. Lovely cafe and gift store and a tasteful art gallery to explore. Sometimes we come just for the coffee and that alone is great.

Love this place! It is small, but they have tons of interesting shows. We sent our son to the after school art classes and they were excellent. He learned so much and the artwork is still on the mantle!
