The male hair dresser wearing glassess doesn't even know how to treat customers. He kept insisting his style of cutting and curling although I said I didn't want to do it that way. He then got angry and pointed his finger at me saying I am so rude. LOL I told this to my friends and they told me he is notorious for being rude to customers. hahaha
Great service and great pricing too. I have been using the services of City Hair since 2007 (back when they were at the Link along High Street) and has always been pleased with the level of expertise and the service they do. Tina, the owner is especially friendly and even provides coffee to customers. She takes time to do the extras that makes customer experience excellent. The only downside (apart from the new premises not as nice than the last one) is that they have too many customers and sometimes I have to wait even when I booked in an appointment. But that is fine because I emerge out of the saloon feeling very good about my hair. I have recommended City Hair to my friends and they have good feedback about the service too.
They do cheap hair cut for sure. However, I did not like my experience there. First of all, they did not shampoo my hair before cutting or even wet the hair first. The result is that they did not cut my hair evenly so I have to go to another hair dresser to get it fix. I am also questioning how clean the hair brushes are if they do not wash customer's hair before cutting. Secondly, it was a really painful hair cut. The lady who cut my hair pulling my hair all the way, so painful. Even so often, she will smash my own hair into my eyes when she was cutting my hair. I do not think I will ever go back there again.
