About Chocolate Boutique Cafe
Divine Hot chocolates, desserts, or coffee and chocolates. We are famous for our italian denso (our thick rich hot chocolate), which is available in double chocolate, mexican spice, or chilli.
Our submarinos which are hot steamed milk with chocolate bars melting into the milk available in milk chocolate, dark chocolate, bittersweet 70% chocolate, praline chocolate, white chocolate, sugar free (diabetic) chocolate, and also flavoured e.g. creme de menthe which is dark chocolate with green peppermint syrup.
Coffees galore, teas whole leaf in variety of flavours, then cakes, cold sweets like passionfruit parfait, hot fudge sundae or death by chocolate. Hot desserts like sticky date pudding, or chocolate steamed pudding and a range of waffles cooked fresh. Gluten free waffles are also available.
From the cabinet you can choose from over 100 Gourmet Chocolates, truffles, liqueur, non liqueur, nutty rochers, and pralines.
Chocolates are bought in from 7 local chocolatiers (mostly trained in Europe) and all using Belgian Barry Callebaut Chocolate which is imported and then tempered and converted into finished products here in New Zealand using our Unique and local ingredients for the centres creating Handmade works of art.

What makes us different
Our business began in 1996 as a small chocolate pop up shop. We travelled the world extensively seeking out good chocolate brands, and decided to hand make our chocolates here in New Zealand using Barry Callebaut chocolate from Belgium and fresh and local ingredients for the fillings.
