Car Inspection Services - CIS - provide an independent, mobile pre-purchase inspection service, and can assist you to avoid the costly and frequently unseen pit-falls of buying a used vehicle and enable you to make the best choice.

We are highly qualified automotive engineers backed up with decades of diverse experience on all types of automobiles. This includes petrol, diesel and hybrid engine types whether sports, classics, 4X4's, trucks (up to 5 ton), buses (up to 9m) and Campers.

The independent CIS pre-purchase report covers the entire vehicle, mechanical, electrical and body.

This includes a road test, manual engine compression test, electronic scanning for electrical faults, a fully detailed inspection of the body, under-body, interior, transmission system, steering & suspension, brakes, tyres, cooling system, exhaust and many other details.

The report includes comments on the vehicle's defects and level of wear to enable you to know the extent of work required and whether it is urgent or further down the track.

We encourage your presence at the inspection but appreciate this is not always possible because of geographic and time = allowances. Reports can be emailed, faxed or posted to buyers throughout NZ and the respective inspector contacted for further queries.
