Exercise, socialisation and fun - Welcome to Brackendell Boarding Kennels & Cattery
Our aim is to provide a low stress boarding environment for all pets. We believe we have achieved this by open communication with pet owners and putting your pets well-being above all else.
On the whole we have a quiet kennel environment because dogs are supervised and are able to play or rest at their leisure (dogs are only kenneled at night unless the weather is poor). Paddock exercise offers the opportunity to run and explore a different environment. We believe these things are the key to reducing stress and noise levels in a boarding environment.
For the well-being of all pets at Brackendell; pets must be up to date with vaccinations, this includes the Kennel Cough vaccination for dogs. Dogs that are vaccinated for Kennel Cough can still contract it, vaccinating your dog will either prevent or reduce the severity of infection.
Please be aware we have a two week 'stand-down' period from the date of all vaccinations. This means if your pet is due to be vaccinated, it must be done AT LEAST 2 weeks prior to boarding. Please bring your pets vaccination certificate with you as we will need to sight it on arrival.
Our Cattery has large, secure cages for individual cats, where they have room to climb - or to 'cat-nap' in their basket.Cats from the same family can be placed together by request. We do not 'mix' our boarding cats unless they are from the same family.
Please feel welcome to bring blankets or toys (no bean bags please) from home to make your pet feel comfortable during their stay with us.
We're open for pet drop off and collection from 8 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 6 pm Monday-Saturday and
9 am - 10 am and 4 pm - 6 pm Sundays.
