We spent St Paddy's night at Botswana Butchery, the food was amazing. I had short rib which was cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth meat with the perfect accompaniments. The range of sides to add to your meal was extensive with a lot of variety. The service wasn't the best or the fastest I've had, but the food certainly made up for it. I will admit we felt a little out of place being in our twenties as the demographic is definitely of the older variety but we still enjoyed it thoroughly. If you are looking for some outstanding food I would recommend Botswana but be prepared to spend a small fortune!
I'm not on board with fellow reviewers. We had dinner with friends last night (Thurs, 15 Jan) and unfortunately the food did not hit the mark. The service was good however patchy; our waiter tried his best, however with a very busy restaurant there was enough floor staff & this impacted the dining experience. The mains was served over an hour after we had eaten our starters, all our mains were lukewarm on the verge of cold. The sides were pipping hot so that was a positive. We complained to the waiter regarding our mains & to be fair we were offered for them to be 'warmed up' however declined as it was already 10:15pm and we were starving. We ordered champagne and didn't a ice bucket instead the bottle was taken away each time the glasses were filled. Painful as we had to wait a considerable amount of time for our glasses to be refilled. Overall I wouldn't go back unfortunately Botswana Butchery is pitching itself at the high end but doesn't have all the goods to back it up.
