Great affordable lunch deals during the week with the option to dine inside or out. They also offer take-away which is great too if you are in a hurry. Food isn't too bad. I have had better indian though elsewhere.
Nothing spectacular. It just seems like another typical Indian curry place that serves Indian food that has been Westernised. Prices are a tad higher than other places, but the surroundings are very pleasant and service is very efficient.
Tasty and delicious food. Friendly staff, and clean tables. There's even a bar if you need it. This place is awesome. Would recommend to anyone looking for good Indian food.My favourite were the choice of the evening. Chicken Tikka Masala. The lamb was succulent and tender and the chicken was the same.
This is not the best outlet of the Bolliwood chain, but I do like it for location and food choices (which are always good). On Friday nights (and possibly some others) the restaurant has a trolley outside which offers rice, curry and naans at affordable prices - is well positioned near the Longroom nightclub to offer food on the run to those drinking nearby. I found the naans and butter chicken to be pretty good there.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is nice too. Not stunning, but the restaurant area is clean and inviting and good for groups.
I absolutely adore the unique experience of watching the staff prepare the bubbly frothy Marsala tea as well as getting to treat my tastebuds to truly remarkable Indian cuisine at its best. I'm an avid fan of this restaurant and love the seafood curries, Fish Marsala, Butter Prawn and Prawn Malai. I highly recommend!
Food was good, but they wouldn't honour a gift voucher that we had received directly from them. Before the meal we discussed it with the assistant manager who said that the voucher was fine to use. After the meal, they said that we couldn't use the voucher and that we had to pay full price.
Old faithful. This is one of our go-to spots when we're looking to get a group of mates together for any occasion. The Onion Bhaji appetizer is always great, and the Chicken Saagwala is superb. Being situated on Ponsonby Rd can make it difficult to find a park nearby, but there is a parking building just around the corner, or you can sneak into a side street and park for free, within walking distance of the restaurant.
