Grand Thai Restaurant

A group of us dined at the Grand Thai and, despite a large crowd to cater for, our meals were served at the same time. The staff were really nice and the food was delicious. There are several Thai restaurants in Whangarei, but this one is getting a name for itself, for it's great menu.

We had chicken tom yum, curry puffs, satay chicken, ginger chicken, golden pork, pad thai and another pork dish. No rice was included and we had to purchase this on top. All were really delicious. The medium tom yum was really spicy though. Our favourite thai in Whangarei.

This restaraunt was lovely. The food was beautiful and fresh. The ginger lamb and rice was perfect couldnt fault it.
