Service was on point drinks an food arrived very fast but lacked in flavor

Really nice, friendly staff. Delicious food, good size portions & lot to choose from. Nice restaurant.

Needed to feed delegation of 5 midweek for takeaways back to motel. Outstanding menu and service. The starters and shared mains very good genuine Thai fare.

We went there on a Friday night, where the restaurant was about half full. We received excellent service with a couple of waitresses attending to us, and the food and drinks coming very quickly. Food wise Grand Thai has a good selection of Thai Classics, but is not the most extensive Thai menu you could have. The Chicken Satay and Tom ka that we had for starters were both satisfactory, but lacked the punch you expect from authentic Thai flavours.. The Larb gai that we had for a main was spot on, although we did ask for hot and would have only rated it as medium by Thai standards, though was hot by NZ standards. We also had a yellow duck curry, which was quite tasty, but (as is the case with most duck meals) could have done with more duck. Overall I would say not a bad option for a feed of Thai food

The service was good and we had our dishes served quickly. The pad thai I ordered was delicious and I really enjoyed my evening here. I liked the choice on the menu, so many items.
