I was keen to learn bowls, but didn't want to pay an annual subscription, until I was sure I would keep it up. I went to their evening session, on a Tuesday, where I was put into a team of others, who were learning also. I simply paid for each session, as I attended, until I made my mind up. It is a very active club with a large membership.
