Bird Recovery Centre

Have taken a few birds in. So much nicer than having an otherwise healthy bird die when my cat catches one. Nice staff. Release birds back where they came from. Such a cool, nice thing they all do for birds.

This sanctuary is mostly run by volunteers, who nurse injured birds back to health, before releasing them back into the wild. They also run lectures and education programmes on conservation. Entry fee is by donation - and that is how the Bird Recovery Centre gets its money, through the generosity of people who donate to them, or pay to visit their amazing sanctuary. Worthy of your support. Highly recommended.
