      Set quite a way into the park, the Barge Showgrounds Event Centre sits in an idyllic park-like setting, a long way from noisy road traffic. The wedding I attended there was done beautifully. The room was decorated in a stunning way and the food was amazing. The grounds offer a lovely backdrop for wedding photos as well.

      Beautiful place so many photo opportunities. Loads of space for all. One of the better event spaces Whangarei has to offer.
