Whakatane Hotel

Went here for dessert. Was tasty and well priced. Came out in decent amount of time, and inside is nice and spacious. Overall a pleasant experience

Went to the ‘Craic’ Irish bar in the Cobb & Co building, big fire on inside, very cosy atmosphere, lady behind the bar was friendly and helpful
Beer was cold and house red was good, reasonable prices
Parking close by a little limited in the afternoon but not too much of a problem
Will definitely go back there

Have dined at Cobb n co several times and have always found their customer service to be very warm, inviting and friendly. Meals are generally quite tasty however at times I have received my food slightly over cooked, especially the chicken breasts. Pricing is okay pending what you order however when paying for a meal I like it to be delicious everytime. My children and I will definitely return to dine in as the environment is always pleasant, private and comforting and the food is almost always tasty.

We stayed at the Whakatane Hotel over the weekend of the touch rugby tournament. We really enjoyed our time there, even though it was just a bed to sleep in for us, the room was clean and tidy as were the facilities. Would reccomend

My kid absolutly loved playing in the kids area on the game kept him busy for sure, good kids selection of food, drink & desert with affordable prices. great restuarant clean & inviting with great customer service. My downfall would be the Adult food & drinks menue very pricey for the bugger all you get. I ordered the $19 burger meal and in my opinion not worth it at ALL was a really basic burger, curly fries were nice though. Wouldnt mind going again and trying something else from the menue. But would be the odd occasion diner considering the costs of food.
