Really nice pub style cafe in Tawa area - really lucky to have this kind of eatery in the area. Tasty, well prepared and cooked, and nicely presented dishes - recommend the beef salad burger and fries, and the BLAT open sandwich. Not the largest menu, but, offers a good variety, with lots of options - burger, salad, extensive pizza menu, etc. Good drinks menu, with a lot to choose from - pub style. Friendly and professional staff. Nice decor, which is comfortable and cosy, with an outdoor seated area, which is really nice during Summer - can get quite busy, and surprisingly, can seat a lot of people, for a small establishment. A real Tawa icon!!

Came here for a wedding enjoyable meal options. Had a lamb shank cooked to perfection.

Good food however the menu option are a bit limited, we love the atmosphere and we have had a few family lunch there. Premise is very comfortable for a large group with an outdoor area where kids can play safely. The service is good and friendly however when it gets busy they are prone to miss on some stuff. Still we feel like coming back.
