Metlink provides ok customer service. quite often not on time. price is not cheap.

Good train ride back to our accommodation in J-ville, we used it after the Macklamore concert. Was a bit of a crush inside but it got us there in one piece so it was good enough for us!

Regularly try to get public transport but it doesn't always go when and where I want to go. I have witnessed a mix of service, some excellent on the buses some not so good.

Unreliable - hit and miss. At times I've experienced amazing service from some bus drivers, other times I've experienced horrific service from them, and other times they just don't even show up. Fares are overpriced and just keep getting raised but there is no improvement in services. Some bus drivers are downright dangerous - I've seen them drive with their doors open - flying around corners, not wait until frail old ladies have taken a seat before taking off (and of course, flying around corners and/or breaking suddenly) - I've seen those same old ladies fall to the ground or into the seat.
The drivers on average are by far the worst mannered of any bus service I've used in NZ or Aus. The only reason I continue to use them is because there is no other option - the same reason they get away with raising fares without improving services.
