Jay jays has such good designs and great quality clothing, I love the cheap deals that they have its always helpful for me to get clothes for my kids being a single parent.

I honestly shunned Jay Jays for so long because I wrote them off as being only for tweens, and decided it was embarrassing to be going there over the age of like 16 - but over the past few years I've gotten over that. Apart from the (mostly) cringey licensed stuff, they have an amazing range - really good basics, generous clearance deals, and a good range of jeans that cover a good range of sizes.
But the reason this particular store gets 4.5 stars is that the manager, Elise, is absolutely amazing. She always makes you feel like she knows you personally when you come in (and she usually recognises me), she's so friendly and very helpful, makes you feel like you're not at all a bother. She's also a similar size to me, which is really refreshing in a fashion store - having a staff member who can actually relate to your struggles with finding clothes that fit properly, etc etc, is really nice, which is what makes this store one of my favourites in Wellington.
