Ibis Wellington

Stayed elsewhere in Wellington but ate twice at the restaurant as it somewhere that you don't really need to dress up. Eye-fillet was delicious. Not impressed with the attitude of the barman on duty so won't be returning.

We stayed here in february and had booked 6 months in advance which was good because it was fully booked out all weekend. Friendly service, clean room and no fuss. Great location and good value for money.

I visit Wellington every year at least once and usually stay at Ibis Wellington due to it's location and rates. Unfortunately the 'air conditioning' is just room temperature air being circulated around. This isn't a fault - three rooms and three years later, issue still persists.

Bathroom is designed weirdly and unfortunately you are jammed into a corner when on the toilet.

Good service, the rooms are very roomy, the room I was in the toilet seems to be in a funny angel. Great breakfast buffet that the hotel provides, would be nice to have their own gym in the hotel rather than sharing with Novatel.

Really good hotel but it is basic yet expensive. The location is great.
