Ibis Wellington

I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel, Wellington. The hotel room was ok-it was clean and had the basics such as a kettle, a small fridge (although I am unsure if ours was working) and a tv. I also paid for a carpark during my stay, again it was ok. On a positive note, found the staff to be friendly and helpful!

For the cost of the room, this hotel was OK. The room was spacious but the bedding was very thin and the weather was cold when we used this hotel so we didn't have the best night sleep. The check in and out was very easy and the staff were very helpful.

Comfy, clean and basic but well priced.

A good location near to the central city with good bars and restaurants on the doorstep.

The room was basic but clean and the bed was comfy. A decent TV channel selection and good sized bathroom.

The breakfast was a little bland but coffee was good and a good price for such a good location

Went to the ground floor restaurant for lunch and was not impressed with the wait times being that there were only 6 people there for lunch (including the small group I went with). The quality of food wasn't very exciting - was like food you'd cook at home in a rush rather than a nice restaurant meal, unsure why it took 40 minutes for average food and the small number of customers. Won't be returning.

Pretty solid low cost rooms, nothing to brag about but comfy and clean. Food was really good though. Is in central Wellington so parking isn’t great.
