With dealing with one of the Auckland based recruiters from Find, the initial interview was very conversational and promising, however due to a lack of follow up for the prospective role, this has soured the experience and my perception of this recruitment agency.

I found the guy I dealt with to be a little arrogant for my liking. I was 'sposed to see a woman for a 'meet & greet', just a casual chat, so I produced a drink as I was not offered one. The mtg continues and at it's conclusion this guy says to me, "I wouldn't take a drink into an interview". I said neither would I. He said isn't this an interview? I explained that the woman I was meant to be meeting with etc etc. I then said "Am I dressed satisfactory for meeting the head of xyz?" to which he replied yes (I had taken some trouble, putting on a dress & Jacket). I just looked at this guy. Coming into an 'interview' in an open neck check shirt (very cool), jeans & sneakers.
It wasn't a Friday.
