Countdown Supermarkets

When we transited Wellington in 2017 and stayed at the Brentwood, we found this delightful supermart where we bought so much dinner and ate so well. The store was well stocked with desserts and fruits. It was a pleasant introduction to Wellington, so nice that we came to live here in 2018.

I hate this countdown as there an islander lady keeps on watching me like i'm sealing from them.

We have recently visited Wellington and during our stay we visited Countdown, first impression was okay for location and parking BUT sad to see homeless people near by. The actual store had a good layout but the selection of fresh baked goods looked stale and felt stale especially some of the breads. The meat department looked good however when I purchased the mince it was red on the outside but in the middle dark brown and smelt horrible did not go back.

The staff are very nice and are always willing to assist us customers. the Gluten free and produce section of this store are always well stocked, so they make sure there's a constant supply of accessible food.
