Aubergine

Entree of snails was perfectly cooked. Our tasty mains of Crispy Confit Duck and Roast lamb accompanied by delicious sides and we finished our meal with Roquefort cheese and herb tea.

Love the intimate dining atmosphere. The food was above average and it wasn't too busy.

Went here for dinner midweek when it was nice and quiet, so the service was quick and our waitress very friendly. We had the lamb and steak with side salads and red wine. Good selection of wine and the food was fine, but we were expecting a bit more for that price range.

The service was very slow and we constantly had to wave down the waitress to get anything. The chicken my sister and I had was dry, as was her partners pork. The vegetables were over cooked and not very appealing. We wouldn’t hurry back.
The only saving grace was desert.
